There is no better time to visit Sydney than for the 25th Biennale of Sydney, Rememory, from 14 March to 14 June.

One of the largest and longest running Biennales in the world, the Biennale of Sydney is a leading contemporary arts event that showcases some of the best art from Australia and beyond. The Biennale will activate locations across Sydney, including the heritage listed White Bay Power Station, once an operating coal power station built in the early 20th century. Experience Badu Gili: Story Keepers illuminating the Sydney Opera House Eastern Bennelong Sails every night after sunset throughout 2026. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the city and immerse yourself amongst the rich art culture of Sydney.

Exhibition entry is free and there is an extensive lineup of programming including artist talks, live music, panels, performances and workshops. We have something (or everything!) for all ages to enjoy at our Family Days, an entire day packed with FREE programming for the kiddies. Or stay late at White Bay Power Station for a sultry night of Art After Dark on Friday nights.

During your visit to the Biennale at White Bay Power Station, drop in to the pop-up bar to enjoy TGBC’s lineup of locally brewed beers, all made with 100% Australian ingredients. Expect favourites like Grifter Pale Ale, Lager, XPA and their Moderation Mid-Strength, best enjoyed during a post-exhibition yarn.

If you’re heading to the Biennale exhibition at the Chau Chak Wing Museum, their  Marrickville brewery is just a 15-minute drive away, where you can enjoy a crisp, cold Grifter straight from the tap.

Located in the beating heart of Sydney’s craft beer scene, you can work your way through The Grifter Brewing Co’s full rotating range, from sessionable classics to more adventurous sour beers. From Friday through Sunday, you can wash it down with exceptional pizza from their in-house pizzeria, Fortune. Not a beer drinker? TGBC has you covered with house-made seltzer and a selection of red, white and orange natural wines.

If you’re keen to keep the day going, make sure to save some room. From here, you can jump onto Australia’s largest brewery trail, the Inner West Ale Trail, with 17 other breweries to explore on foot.

Memory Lane Markets

Memory Lane Markets brings together a vibrant mix of multicultural food vendors, each offering dishes shaped by memory, heritage and identity — echoing the themes of the 25th Biennale of Sydney, Rememory.

Across the markets, you’ll encounter flavours spanning Pakistani, Palestinian, Lebanese, Persian, East African, Italian, Chinese and Native Australian cuisines, alongside bakeries and nostalgic Australian desserts.
