Art After Dark
Join us after dark every Wednesday for a night of music, experimentation and performance inspired by the industrial, architectural gem that is White Bay Power Station and the 24th Biennale of Sydney: Ten Thousand Suns.
Open to the public for the first time in 100 years, experience White Bay as never before with exhilarating contemporary art installed throughout the Turbine Hall and Boiler Room, woven into hidden passageways and tucked into recesses, and floating from the roof eight storeys above.
With a visionary program of music featuring some of Australia’s hottest musical acts presented by Phoenix Central Park, and free access to the Biennale of Sydney exhibition until 9pm, gather your friends for a memorable night of dancing, pop-up bars, Shorty’s food truck, and art, of course!
Tickets to Art After Dark: Music are free and available via ballot registration. Entry to the exhibition is also free.

Phoenix Central Park is renowned not only for its one-of-a-kind performance space in Chippendale, but its commitment to artistic ambition and experimentation, uplifting the multiplicity of contemporary music scenes and sub-cultures that permeate Sydney and the country. Partnering with the Biennale of Sydney presents the opportunity to bring this vision to another exciting wonder of architecture and engineering in the White Bay Power Station, and to respond to the rich visual arts program of Ten Thousand Suns.
