Founded in 2001, the Sydney Street Choir is Australia’s longest running choir of its kind. We are a supportive musical community for people experiencing social isolation and disadvantage, using the power of song to create connection, dignity and hope. Through rehearsals, performances, tours, social activities and a unique social welfare program, we offer practical, often life changing support alongside opportunities for creative expression. By giving voice to those who are too often unheard, we empower our members to be seen, heard and celebrated, while building resilience, community and belonging.
