INBRAZA Baile

INBRAZA Baile
Established:
2022
Based in:
Kulin Nation (Melbourne, Australia)
INBRAZA Baile is a self-funded cultural collective founded in 2022 on the unceded lands of the Kulin Nation (Melbourne, Australia). Born from the need to carve out space in the club scene for Afro-diasporic expression, INBRAZA Baile celebrates ancestry through music, dance, and culture — with an unapologetically sexy, stylish, and Afro-futuristic spirit.
As pioneers of Baile Funk in Australia, INBRAZA sits at the intersection of entertainment, education, and resistance. INBRAZA Baile exists to amplify underground Afro-Latinx artists, particularly those rooted in Baile Funk — a genre born in the favelas of Brazil, rich in political and cultural power, yet often marginalised or exploited in mainstream spaces.
INBRAZA Baile’s mission is to revolutionise club culture by turning up the volume on voices that have long been silenced. They challenge industry norms, create real opportunities, and fight for the recognition and support that these artists deserve. From dancefloors to panels, workshops, galleries, and creative activations, INBRAZA is where the diaspora reclaims space.
