Body of Work is an art collective co-founded by Charlotte Farrell and Emma Maye Gibson, dedicated to the development and presentation of cutting-edge contemporary performance. Farrell and Gibson are multidisciplinary practitioners who honour the transformative potential of live experience and embodied knowledges. Through Body of Work, the pair create performance-based gatherings, workshops, actions, and stagings with an underlying drive to speak truth to power. Drawing from sumptuous, radical histories of queer avant garde and subversive art making, Body of Work responds to the now with a reverence and hope for the infinite.
