The collaborative sound, video performance will stage and record new sequences in real time with Abboud’s sisters, nieces, and cousins in costume, informed by Lebanese Maronite mourning gestures, exploring how movement and stillness can carry ritual into contemporary action. Creating a parallel juxtaposition emphasising fragmentation, repetition, and interruption, echoing the distortions of sound and sight and the fractured nature of memory.
