Participants will learn how to create a natural botanical dye bundle using Australian native plants and ochre as a mordant. Participants leave with a silk bandana scarf bundle in a glass jar to keep in a sunny spot for a few weeks and the foundational knowledge of the science behind natural dyes. In this workshop Norton will talk about sustainability, the fast fashion industry, the importance of natural fibres and connection to Country.
