Nikodimos and his Orchestra explore unorthodox approaches to orchestral music. They activate unconventional spaces with deep and spiritually charged compositions. The orchestra features strings, brass, percussion, woodwind, harp and voice conducted by and featuring the virtuosic Nikodimos, a compelling woodwind player with a technicoloured essence. Nikodimos Paleologoudias is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer and song-writer from Naarm (Melbourne). He is featured on a track with Hiatus Kaiyote (Everything’s Beautiful), is a member of Naarm Punk Funk outfit Proto Moro and has an illustrious solo career spanning many genres and instruments. His music often engages with his Antalioan heritage through his use of traditional Greek Instruments, as well as his explorations of Greek musical tradition.
