Self-described as the “Gaysian empress of Sydney”, Dyan Tai (he/they) has emerged from the local cabaret scene and now evolved into an electronic artist. Praised by Flume as “sound-designey and weird” (TripleJ Unfinished: Flume), Dyan sonically fuses Asiatic soundscapes with experimental art-pop. The trilingual, Chinese-Australian artist was also part of APRA/AMCOS’s Pride Songhubs curated by Troye Sivan and will be debuting his first multidisciplinary audiovisual live show later this year.
