Sydney, Australia: The Biennale of Sydney – Australia’s leading contemporary art festival – welcomes Adelle Robinson, Managing Director of Fuzzy Operations, to its Board of Directors.   

Kate Mills, Chairman of the Biennale of Sydney said: ‘With an extensive portfolio of producing large-scale festivals nationally and internationally, Adelle’s influence has greatly shaped the live music sector in Australia and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Biennale of Sydney. We’re delighted to welcome Adelle Robinson to the Biennale of Sydney’s Board of Directors.’ 

Adelle Robinson said: ‘As a producer and advocate for creating enriching experiences that bring audiences together to celebrate art and culture, I’m thrilled to be joining the Biennale of Sydney’s Board of Directors. I look forward contributing to José Roca’s artistic vision for the 23rd Biennale of Sydney and future editions.’ 

Adelle Robinson is a descendant of the Wiradjuri people and has over 20 years’ experience producing some of Australia’s largest music festivals including Field Day, Harbourlife, Shore Thing and Listen Out. Having worked across Australia’s most unique and sensitive venues Adelle has led the way for best practise in event management and event stakeholder liaison. As Chair and committee member of the Australian Festival Association Adelle has worked as member of the NSW Music Festivals Regulatory Round Table and she gave evidence at the 2019 Parliamentary Inquiry in Music Festival Regulation. Adelle is currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate of Wiradjuri Language Culture and Heritage through Charles Sturt University.  

The 23rd Biennale of Sydney (2022) will be curated by Artistic Director José Roca and a team of local curators (The Curatorium).  The exhibition will be presented free of charge from 12 March to 13 June 2022.
