Kezia
Kezia has been obsessed with image-making since childhood, from discovering double exposure photography on her Polaroid I-Zone to seizing her parents’ camcorder for hours on end. By fifteen, she was building pinhole cameras from old boxes and developing black and white film in the darkroom. This evolved into over a decade of photographic experimentation across film and digital.
As a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in filmmaking and photography, Kezia’s work interrogates race, gender, colonialism, and identity. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in filmmaking, and her 2022 capstone short film received official selections at Sydney Lift-Off Film Festival and Cebu International Film Festival.
Kezia currently balances her artistic practice with a career in content marketing, and continues to explore the intersections of identity, power, and visual narratives. “
