Paula Abood is a community cultural practitioner, writer and educator. She has worked with immigrant and refugee communities on the unceded Dharug and Gadigal lands for over three decades. In her cultural work with people forcibly displaced from their homelands, Abood has convened creative spaces to support both individual and community recovery through art making.
The Children’s Choir is a community cultural project that brings children, artists and families together to nourish through music, singing, dance and drumming. The words, melodies and rhythms of our ancestors remind us of the joy that we have inherited as we sing the moon up, with children leading the way.
